Some love letters

ここ数週間、私は既知・未知、存命・故人、老若を問わず、女性作家が書いたラブレターを集めている。公文書館、図書館、古い屋根裏部屋の奥深くからこれらの手紙を探すことは、詩的であると同時に政治的な行為であり、彼女たちに可視性の場を与えることができる。このリサーチでは、Tシャツがプロジェクトのキャンバスとなる。 そしてここから、私は古い女性向け雑誌『LOVE』からいくつかのコラージュを作ることにした。これらの新聞は、家父長制に絡め取られ、良い妻、良い母、良いカトリックの女性であることについての記事ばかりだ。自然と文化、男性と女性、モノと被写体を混ぜ合わせ、ジェンダー・アイデンティティーに疑問を投げかけるようなイメージで。 Over the last few weeks I have been gleaning love letters written by women writers:known or unknown, living or deceased, old or young. To look for these letters in the depth of the archives, libraries, old attics(...) is a performative gesture at the same time poetical and political, allowing a place of visibility to be given to these women. In this research the tee shirt becomes the support, the canvas of the project, here the words of love come to form one body with the body itself. Then, from this point, I have decided to make some collages from old Love magazine for women. These newspapers were entangled in patriarchy, the articles are all about being agood wife, a good mother, and a good catholic woman. With my collages, I wanted to deconstruct this traditional plan for women through the images: mixing nature with culture, men with women, objects with subjects, in a way to question the gender identity.
